Joshua Ibbott is the 11th grade student of the month for April.

The 11th grader for the month of April is Joshua Ibbott. Joshua was born in Brooklyn, New York. His mother is half Guyanese and half Bengali, while his dad is half Guyanese and half Panamanian. Joshua is one of 19 children–he has 11 brothers and 7 sisters.

Joshua loves to draw, and his artistic skills are evident by his excellence in his Preservation Arts classes. In fact, Joshua’s favorite teacher is Ms. Moos, one of WHSAD’s talented art teachers. Joshua feels that Ms. Moos cares a lot about his well-being. Joshua says, “For example, if I come to class looking down, Ms. Moos would always ask if I’m okay.”
