Applications are available for the New York Times College Scholarship. Application Due Monday, October 26th
The Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors in public, private or parochial schools in the five boroughs who have demonstrated academic achievement and community service while facing significant obstacles. This year, we intend to support ten students with scholarships of up to $15,000 a year. Students must enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited college or university in the United States. Each scholarship will be renewable, as long as the student maintains a good academic record.
The program currently awards scholarships to ten New York City high school seniors in the top 10 percent of their graduating class. Each award recipient receives a four-year college scholarship, mentoring and a summer internship at The New York Times.
