Every 8^th grade & 9^th grade student residing in the five boroughs of New York City is eligible to apply to the Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design. During the month of October, 8^th grade public school students receive an individualized high school application from their current guidance counselors. 9^th graders can request an application from their guidance counselor if they wish to transfer to another public high school.

Students attending private/ parochial schools can also request a New York City public high school application through their current schools.

Students who have attended one of our open houses and show an interest in Architecture, Historic Preservation, Engineering, or Design will receive priority for admission.
