AIM: How does the double-stranded nature of  DNA contribute to its replicability? Homework: Complete pre-lab if it was not completed in class.

New Vocab:

DNA bases– The genetic code of DNA is based on 4 letters- A T G and C

Base pairing- The base A always pairs with T. The base G always pairs with C.

Replicate- To make an identical copy.

Complementary- A matching part. Each strand of DNA is complementary to the other.

DNA EXTRACTION FROM A STRAWBERRY PRE-LAB If your pre-lab is not complete, you will not participate in tomorrow’s lab. If you are not focused during the lab, you will be removed from the activity, and your class will not go to the lab for the rest of the year. Tomorrow is your LAST chance to regain lab privileges.
