Today we looked at a new type of line related to circles. A tangent is a line that only touches a circle at one point.
A tangent line is a lot like a grazing shot with an arrow. I like to imagine the circle as a target and the tangent line as the path of the arrow. A arrow that just touches the target and passes by is a tangent line.
