The WHSAD SkillsUSA chapter has done it again!

Action Skills/Job Demo
2nd Place-Brandon Lopez (Demo on creating a Door for a video game Map) **Competed against his brother, Kyle Lopez.
Opening and Closing Ceremonies Team (a competition based on Teamwork and Cohesiveness)
1st place-Guadalupe Hernandez, Trevon West, Adrian Sterling, Kaniyah Parris, Stephanie Ayala, Premnauth Ramchan, Jonathan Walker.
Architectural Drafting
3rd Place-Jonah Vazquez
Despite losing his entire drawing right before he was ready to print, Jonah Vazquez pulled himself together and managed to finish in half the time and still managed to place 3rd in the Architectural Drafting category.
Jonah’s thoughts on the experience:
“My confidence in my speed added to my downfall as I didn’t feel the need to save just yet. This was the worst possible mistake I could’ve made.” When Jonah believed that there was nothing to be done, and was ready to give up, our WHSAD SkillsUSA Family came to the rescue!!!
“Before getting back to work, I heard nothing but the supporting words of the members of our chapter, and this is what drove me to continue. With their support, I was able to place third.”
