The 10th grade Student of the Month for February is Daniel Reid.  Daniel was born in Kings Plaza in Brooklyn in December 1997.  His family is from Jamaica. Daniel is the first in his family born in the United States. He has three brothers.

Daniel enjoys playing guitar and aspires to become a professional musician.

A perennial honor roll student, Daniel was chosen by his teachers because of his overall excellence at school and positive attitude. Daniel also participates in Pace University’s Upward Bound program, an after-school program designed to provide gifted youngsters from Brooklyn with the academic support and advising services they need in order to prepare for college and careers.
