This week we are finishing up our 2nd Unit.  We have studied 2 wood joints in depth the lap joint and the mortise-and-tenon joint.

We further explored how joinery was is used in timber framing, which is a free standing self supportive structure which can support

its own weight and additional weight. The next 2 days will be devoted to studio work time we will end the unit with a class critique and celebration of all your work.
