How do you write coordinate geometry proofs.

1) You must know the distance formula, slope formula and midpoint formula.

2) You must know the key properties of the quadrilaterals.

Common ways to show a quadrilateral is a….
•Parallelogram – Opposite sides are congruent and parallel
•Rectangle- Parallelogram with congruent diagonals (not perpendicular) & right angles
•Rhombus – Parallelogram with congruent sides and non congruent perpendicular diagonals
•Square – Parallelogram with congruent, perpendicular diagonals
•Isosceles Trapezoid – one pair of parallel sides and one pair of congruent non parallel sides. Diagonals not congruent
