Geometry: Quadratic-Linear Systems April ’11

You should be familiar with solving systems of equations graphically and algebraically.

In geometry, you should be able to graph a quadratic function (the parabola) and a linear function (a line) on the same coordinate plane and identify the solutions to the system.

A solution is where both the parabola and line intersect.

A quadratic-linear system can have two solutions, one solution or no solution.
