Independent Reading Project

MATERIALS NEEDED

*Independent reading book of student’s choice

*Composition book for daily log

*pen

ASSIGNMENT

Read your independent book during homework hour for 20 minute sessions, 5 times weekly.

Write a log after each reading session in a composition book, with the following:

*Date

*Time

*Title      *Author      *Page #s read rhat night

*A paragraph response about the passage you read

*A vocabulary word chosen from the passage, defined

Due date:  Composition books will be collected on the last day of the marking period for grading.
