“No Two Snowflakes are Alike” is a familiar quote. On Thursday, December 19th students will use the same set of directions to create snowflakes in class and discuss their similarities and differences. We will explore the concepts of symmetry (point, line, and rotational) and discuss characteristics of congruence and similarity.
For this assignment, you are to read the New Yorker article and write a one page reflection (see attached). You are to submit one of your snowflakes with the project. Projects should be completed by Friday Dec 20th. I will be in the computer lab period 8 on Thursday. If you missed class, you can create your own snowflake at home or email me for the pentagon directions.
