Unit_3 Wood Joinery

Monday 10/6/2014 we will start our Wood Joinery Unit.
In this unit we will explore new tools such as, wood saws, c-clamps etc. We will start using drawing as a planning tool
and realize our ideas in wood. You will learn basic wood joinery and shop safety.
Aim: How do we read and use a tape measure or ruler?
Aim: What safety rules should be followed cutting wood?
Aim: How do you cross cut lumber with a hand saw?
Aim: How can you manipulate 2 pieces of wood in order to join them?
