Welcome Sophomores to Global History & Geography III/IV. Attached you will find the Course Syllabus which will outline and explain the course as well as expectations, rules, grading policies, etc. Please read it carefully and sign the contract at the end. You may print this version and bring it into class or you can wait until later next week when I hand them out in class. The signed contract is due on Friday September 13th. Your first week’s homework assignment will be to bring in a notebook, folder and pen/pencil by Wednesday, September 11th. These materials must be with you each day in order to ensure your success in this course.
Also, your Summer assignment is due by September 27th, if you have not completed it yet and need assistance or a copy of the assignment please let me know and I can assist you.
One last thing, my office hours throughout the school year will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – 8th period. All other times must be done by appointment. I am also available 9th period after school by appointment. Please take advantage of these office hours for extra help on class and homework assignments. You can also stop by if you have any questions, if you would like more insight on a Global History topic, or if you have any insight you’d like to share with me.
