WHSAD Students Officially Enter TEMA (Teen Empowerment Mural Apprenticeship)

On October 15, 2013 5 WHSAD students officially entered TEMA (Teen Empowerment Mural Apprenticeship), This Apprenticeship is a paid year long after-school pre-professional public art apprenticeship program for teens (14 to 19-year-olds) interested in using visual arts for the benefit of local communities. TEMA apprentices create public works of art collaboratively with Groundswell professional artists on projects commissioned by community partners. The 5 WHSAD students selected for this program are John Fermin (Senior), Adrien Acevedo (Senior), Cynthia Espinosa (Senior), Dariel Leonardo (Junior), Donovan Bembridge (Sophomore).
