College Workshop

With the college application process in full swing WHSAD seniors welcomed some additional advice from Heather Butts, JD, MPH, MA
the Co-Founder and Executive Director of H.E.A.L.T.H for Youths, a non profit organization  dedicated to promoting and encouraging youth to reach their full potential.
Heather covered essential topics to the college application process from navigating through the Common Application, writing a college essay that stands out, succeeding at the interview and most importantly how to go about getting scholarships. The students were extremely engaged and gained new insight on the application process. In the spring Heather will be back to present another College Readiness workshop for WHSAD’s Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.
