How has it been adapting to high-school so far? How’s it different from middle school?
I feel as though I have adapted quite easily to high-school despite the many changes. One main difference for me was there not being any homeroom, which was such a strange concept to me after all the years of having a homeroom.
How do you feel about the environment? How has your experience with students and teachers been?
I personally love the environment at WHSAD because there are resources, experiences, creativity, and a community. But despite everyone participating in extraordinary things, people always treat others as equal. Everybody that I have come in contact with at this school- and I cannot stress this enough- has always treated me with so much kindness.
What are some projects you’re working on right now?
I’m currently working on a project for Architecture class where I design an app for finding street parking in New York City.
Do you have any projects in mind for the future?
I want to design a room using Floor Planner.
What do you look forward to learning or being exposed to here?
I’m excited to be exposed to all the programs and after-school clubs, working on architecture as well, and all of the different things that they have.
Why did you choose WHSAD?
Because of the different programs and connections that the school has.
Is there something specific you hope to achieve in your 4 years here at WHSAD?
Not necessarily.
