The DOE has designated January as NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Sign-Up Month. A NYC Schools account is necessary for parents to view their child(ren)’s grades, report cards, attendance history, test scores, graduation tracker and other important information!! It is also how parents can run and vote in the upcoming 2021 Education Council Elections.
We invite you to register for an NYC Schools account, accessible in one of ten languages on a computer, phone or tablet
Follow these steps to register for your account:
1. Visit https://mystudent.nyc and select the “Create Account” link found on the login page.
2. Enter your child’s 9-digit student ID number. You can find your child’s ID number on his or her report card. If you do not have your child’s ID number, contact your child’s school.
3. Enter the unique Account Creation Code, which is specific to you and your child:
(A letter with the Account Creation Code will be mailed to you, or call Ms. Chu at (646)678-1861 for your code.)
4. Select “Next.”
5. Enter and confirm your email address and password. 6. Select “Create Account.”
