Topic 4 (Equation of a Circle)

The equation of a circle looks quite different from parabola and line equations seen in algebra classes.

This translates into a graph like the example shown below:

When graphing circles we focus on the center and the radius. Using this information we can solve fascinating problems. Check the classwork below to see how knowledge of a circle can save a life when it comes to ambulance service zones!
