High Rock Session-March 2nd

Today was another wonderful day at High Rock, and I am overjoyed with the work we were able to complete today. Along with learning lots of things as we were working, we had to overcome some challenges at our site. Fortunately, the working environment improved magnitudes over the last time we were at High Rock. I remember how I came home covered in mud from head to toe as we got unlucky with the weather, and the frozen dirt in the morning turned into slippery mud in the afternoon, that was one heck of a day! NYC Parks Department Brings Equity to WHSAD

A partially overlooked part of New York City is the magnificent parks that reside right under our noses. The intricate system of parks that has existed for decades has been taken for granted by the people who live and use it on a daily basis, and the parks have lost their wealth as providers to every community that they exist in. But during the pandemic, something changed. The quarantine provided much reflection upon people and lent them more time than was previously available. RAMSA Session 4

Amelia Velez During RAMSA session 4, the session consisted of a panel of five different speakers, all managed by Ms. Gaylin M. Bowie. Each speaker focused on their specific job in RAMSA and how their jobs have been influenced by the current pandemic.
