College Now at City Tech (Downtown Brooklyn) offers students an opportunity to start earning college credits for FREE. Courses are Tues/Thurs afterschool or on Saturdays. There are both in person and virtual opportunities. Eligibility: Recommend for students with an 80+ cumulative average and have passed the ELA regents with a 75+ and/or course average of an 85%. In New York City, all current ninth grade students have the option to apply to another high school programs for tenth grade seats. This is a great opportunity to explore other high school options for next year if you feel WHSAD is right for you. Hi All, We are at the final month. In order to be certified for graduation and be awarded a diploma you must have met all NYS Graduation Requirements. Confirm w/ your teachers that you have passed all your courses including the AutoCad certification exam. Only students who have met the requirements will be allowed to participate in our graduation ceremony on June 23rd. The Senior Breakfast will be Wednesday, June 8th from 9am - 10:30 am in the WHSAD Cafeteria. The Senior Prom is Thursday, June 16th at Princess Manor from 6:30pm - 10:30pm and Graduation will be on Thursday, June 23rd at City Tech starting at 2:30pm (graduates must arrive at 1:30pm). Students and their guest are required to show proof of vaccination or an negative PCR test. Please see attached letter for further information and how to submit your information prior to each event.
