What are your strengths and what areas of yourself would you like to improve?
I believe that my strengths are my communication skills, my knowledgeable nature, my maturity, and my ambition for success. However, everyone has their Achilles heel and I believe mine is my lack of organization. This lack of organization has been an issue for me and has caused me to lose track of some important deadlines.
What are you looking forward to in your senior year at WHSAD?
This year I am looking forward to spending my final year at WHSAD with my peers and my wonderful teachers. I have a lot of plans for this year and some of those may/may not be around the holidays of this year. I am also looking forward to the senior activities that are planned and, God willing, Covid won’t get in the way.
What are your plans after high school?
My plans after high school are going to college and getting an internship and then pursuing a career in Architecture, Graphic Design or Illustration.
What activities have you been involved in during your time at WHSAD and how have these activities helped you grow?
During my time at WHSAD, I have been a participant in numerous in-school and out of school activities. I am a member of the school’s video game club, Dungeon and Dragons club, Architecture club, Makerspace internship group and many more. Don’t believe me? Talk to Mr. Codio, Mr. Rodriguez, or Mr. Koestner, they’ll back me up.
What advice would you give to students in the lower grades?
My advice to my underclassmen would be…
Participate in each class with the same enthusiasm as your favorite hobby. It will help you grow closer with your teachers.
Pursue what you enjoy doing, as long as it is legal and doesn’t harm others.
Try and greet those you pass by everyday, that simple “Hello”, “Good Morning” or “How are you doing?” can mean a world of difference for someone.
