Aim: How do we use the imperfect tense conjugation to talk about our childhood?

The imperfect tense is used mainly to describe habitual actions in the past tense.

Regular Imperfect Verb Endings

-ar verbs -er and -ir verbs
yo -aba -ía
tú -abas -ías
usted, él, ella -aba -ía
nosotros -ábamos -íamos
vosotros -abais -íais
ustedes, ellos, ellas -aban -ían

Homework #2

Write 5 sentences about yourself as a child. Remember you will be using the imperfect tense conjugation of the ‘yo’ form.

Homework #3

Write 5 sentences about you and your family when you were younger. Feel free to use different conjugations. (e.g.: él, ella, nosotros, ellos, etc)
