AIIM: How can our voices be heard about issues in the world?

HOMEWORK_Second & final draft of a letter to a public official about an issue that concerns you.  The components of the project are:

*brainstorm handout

*draft

*revision comments by a peer

*final draft

SUMMER READING PROJECT IS DUE FRIDAY.  If,for any reason, you did not yet complete the summer assignment, make sure you hand it in by Monday for full credit.  If that is impossible, I will accept the project up until the date of progress reports.  So, ignoring the assignment is not really an option just because “summer is over.”  The first day of autumn is not until September 21.  So, since you have to do a reading log anyway, you should use the text you should have read during the summer, before you choose an independent book.
