Today, my classes received their assignments for the Unit 2 Congruent Logos Project.
In this project students will:
1. Analyze 3 different company logos that feature a triangle, copy the logo, explain why they think the designer chose to use a triangle in their logo, and construct a triangle congruent to the one in the logo.
2. Analyze 1 company logo that features at least one pair of congruent triangles, copy the logo, explain why they think the designer chose to use a triangle in their logo, and explain how they know that the triangles are congruent. (SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS)
3. Create their own company logo, explain what their logo represents, and how the triangle in the logo adds to its beauty and/or design.
4. Fill out the self-assessment section of the rubric.
Be creative and have fun looking for cool logos!
