AIM: When and how do gametes form?

Key Concepts: 

– Gametes are sex cells. Male gametes are called sperm. Female gametes are called eggs. Sperm and Eggs have half of the DNA needed to make a living organism.

– Gametes are formed by the process of MEIOSIS.

– Meiosis is cell division that creates cells with half the genetic information.

Assignments:

– DO NOW was checked for a classwork grade

– In class note sheet

– HW- Meiosis and Gametes questions
