This past Saturday 60 students woke up as if it were a weekday and they came into WHSAD to prepare for their AP Calculus Exams, Global History Regents, and U.S. History Regents. For the students taking the M
ock Social Studies Regents Exam they were faced with three hours of Multiple Choice Questions, Document Based Questions, and two essays. Because no one classroom could hold all the students we went down to the auditorium where I was able to hold a review session. Many of the students were simply knocked out. That’s a good thing! It’s better to be knocked out in late April than to be knocked out the day of the Regents. Many students shared that they need to make use of after school tutoring so they can get the facts down for the thematic essay.
In addition to the class time being used to do Regents Prep here is a review schedule to help all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to prepare for their Social Studies Regents.
Ms. Cahill (U.S. History) Tuesday and Wednesday 9th Period in Room 203
Mr. Lesinski (Global History) Monday and Tuesday 9th Period Room 211
