There is a free prom dress giveaway on Sun, April 28th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the PINK PRINCESS PARTY BOUTIQUE 1470 WILLIAMSBRIDGE BRONX, NEW YORK. All items are free for teens who attend on a first come first serve basis. One parent may accompany you if they like. There is one ticket per family.

Do you want to develop your sketching skills and discover new ways of seeing as you draw live models in poses inspired by images of dancers from ancient artifacts? If you do, illustrator and teaching artist Joan Chiverton is having an afternoon of figure drawing in conjunction with the exhibition Hymn to Apollo. Bring their own drawing pad or paper with a board to use. This event will be held on Sat, April 13, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, NYU 15 East 84th Street in Manhattan.
Have you ever been curious to know how New Yorkers traveled before we were born? Visit the NYC Transit Museum! You will see a collection of modes of transportation through the ages, historic signage, and scale trolley models. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children over 2. The museum is in downtown Brooklyn.
