Welcome to the new and improved version of WHSAD.org. At the request of parents and students, we redesigned our website to include features that will keep families informed about life in our busy high school. Our ongoing goal is to produce the architects of the future. Keeping our parents and students up to date is critical if we are going to meet this goal. It is my hope that parents and students take full advantage of this effort to keep you informed and current about events at WHSAD. I encourage visitors to take a moment to navigate our site and become acquainted with our new design. In addition to ongoing Teacher Posts meant to keep parents and students abreast of class requirements, we’ve added a number of pages such as The Principal’s Corner, Assistant Principal Shout Outs, Recent Guidance Posts, Parent News and Student Activities Updates. We also added a Student of the Month section for each of the four grades to honor students for their outstanding achievements.
Of the features we added, I am happy to announce that parents can now use our Paypal link to pay for student activities online. In addition, our Calender is a great resource to keep up with important dates at WHSAD. Please check our site regularly for reminders of upcoming events. Finally, we will soon be “tweeting” our posts on Twitter, so please check back to learn about this feature when it becomes active.
I am particularly happy to announce that we just hired our first student to act as staff writer for The Keystone, an online newsletter run and edited by Ms. Terraferma. In addition to being an 11th grade honor roll student, Josh Cepeda will be a paid reporter writing about important events at WHSAD. Check out his first post, WHSAD on Ice.
