On March 2nd, over 60 WHSAD students from the third marking period honor roll went to the Barclay’s Center to see the Brooklyn Nets take on the visiting Golden State Warriors. This field trip is part of an ongoing tradition at the Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design to reward its top students with field trips. This is the third year in a row that WHSAD students went to the Barclay’s Center to root for the Brooklyn Nets.
Past field trips include, but are not limited to, Broadway and off-Broadway plays, day trips to Chelsea Piers, bowling, and other sports events. These incentive trips have helped WHSAD students push for higher grades each marking period.
