English/Global History Tutoring & Mock Regents Schedule

Tutoring for June Regents Exams has begun.  New schedules have been distributed. The English and Global Regents are scheduled for the same day (June 14th).  To best prepare, students should be attending tutoring, office hours, and Saturday Mock Exams. College Now Classes for Fall 2016

College Now at City Tech provides students with the opportunity to earn college credits by taking free college level courses with college professors.  Classes are Tuesday/Thursday or Saturday on the City Tech campus in Downtown Brooklyn.  Attached is the list of courses and application. Students need a minimum 75+ on the ELA and an 80+ overall GPA.  If you are interested, but haven't take the ELA Regents yet, prepare your application and once your updated transcript is available your guidance counselor will send it out. Summer Architecture Program at CCNY

The City College of New York is hosting a Summer Architecture course called "Architectural Expression".  This architecture and design program involves a series of exercises that incorporate issues of critical thinking, aesthetics, structural integrity, and the inherent properties of material.  there will be substantial readings that correspond to the curriculum.  Drawing exercises will be conducted, and formal architectural theory will be investigated.  There will be visits to sites of architectural interest. Sculpture Center Summer Internship

SculptureCenter's Public Process High School Internship Program is a FREE three-week summer intensive program (July 5-22, 2016). Interns visit public art sites, meet with arts professionals, and engage with artists in their studios to gain a deeper understanding of what goes into creating a public artwork. This summer, speakers and field trips will focus on issues surrounding public space, public art, and its relationship to advertising and the media. Topics will include contemporary art, urban design, the history of public art in New York City, community activism, and media representation. BTG CITY TECH Summer Courses

Bridging the Gap at New York College of Technology (City Tech) is offering 3 summer courses to students in grades 7-12 with an overall GPA (75%+) and a minimum of 75% average in math, science and English.  (See application for further eligibility requirements). NYU School of Engineering ARISE Summer Program

NYU Tandon School of Engineering Applied Research Innovations in Science and Engineering (ARISE) Program is seeking academically strong, current 10th and 11th grade NYC students with a demonstrated interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for their seven week summer program.  The program includes: college level workshops and seminars, a high level research experience in participating NYU faculty labs, and mentoring.
