NYC Born & Raised’ College Scholarship

Are you a native New Yorker who is currently in college? Got tenacity and grit? This Brooklyn-born lawyer wants to pay it forward by launching a scholarship fund to benefit one hard working college student each year. Born in what today is called Prospect-Lefferts Gardens and raised in Manhattan, attorney Ivan Diamond graduated from the New York public school system, went on to Brooklyn Law School, and now has his own practice in the Bronx. Attending law school at night so he could also work to support his family, Diamond received the honor of “best in class” in personal injury law. Here are some things to do after you submit your deposit: Click here to read the full article Notify other colleges you won't be attending. Thank everyone who helped. Submit the housing application/questionnaire and deposit. Pay attention to email and the mail. Update FAFSA and provide required financial aid documents. Submit final high school transcript. AEC Electrical Scholarship

The Association of Electrical Contractors (AEC) is an organization of electrical contracting companies active in New York City. Each year, our AEC Electrical Scholarship and Educational Fund Committee gives out scholarships to graduating New York City high school seniors who are interested in Electrical Engineering or a field related to the Electrical Construction Industry.
