The CTE Industry Scholars Program (CTE ISP) is hard at work planning remote opportunities for this summer for CTE students to continue their Work-Based Learning experiences! Senior, Daniel Rojas, Participates in Coop Tech Carpentry Program

The Coop Tech program provides students, such as Daniel Rojas, with opportunities to explore their passions. In the following narrative, the WHSAD senior shares his experience in the Carpentry program.  I chose to go to Coop Tech because I wanted to learn new things. I looked at it as an opportunity to learn new things that would help me for my future. At Coop Tech, I'm in the Carpentry class. I chose Carpentry because I like to build things, and I like to work with my hands. In this class I'm learning the basics of Carpentry like how to work properly with power tools and how to read the ruler. National Decision Day

Attention Seniors,  May 1st is National Decision Day which means the pressure is on for high school seniors to make final college decisions. WHSAD will be hosting a celebratory party during 3rd & 4th period for students who have committed to the college of their choice.  In order to receive a ticket, you must provide Ms. Terraferma with a copy of your college acceptance letter. Start Earning College Credits This Fall

Will you be a Junior or Senior at WHSAD this fall? Do you want to start earning college credits? Do you have an 80+ Average and a score of 75+ on the ELA regents*? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then you can start taking College Now classes this fall at City Tech (in Downtown Brooklyn).
