Product Formation

Today we began learning how to use balanced equations to predict product formation from a chemical equation.  These problems play out like regular word problems, but they expect us to be able to extract more information based on our knowledge of chemistry.

To solve these problems, you will need to know how to calculate molar mass, and how to balance chemical equations.  Remember, we need to go grams-moles-moles-grams.  We will practice more tomorrow.

Aim: How can we predict the amount of product formed from a chemical reaction?
