AIM: What is a zygote, and how does it form?

New Vocabulary:

Fertilization– The joining of an egg and sperm

Zygote- The new cell with a complete set of chromosomes (DNA) that forms when an egg and sperm are joined together

Homework: 14 Vocabulary definitions located on the back of today’s note sheet
