Visual Configuration Exercise

During the course of the year students are asked to visualize the configuration of various field maps, minerals in stone, sequencing fossil layers and the position of the planets and stars.  This exercise in counting figures will help students visualize conceptual differences in the quantities mentioned above.

How many figures can you count in each diagram?
