War Memorial: Writing performance Task

Students  create a project proposal for their vision of a war memorial.  Based on Maya Lin’s winning submission for the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington DC, the project should include:

*a written composition (2 pages)

*drawings and layout of their design  concept

*presentation on a poster

 

Students have been given a packet, with information and brainstorming pages,  and a rubric with components assessed  for their grade.

\  DUE DATE: TUESDAY MAY 26
