WHSAD kicked off 2017 with its first community service project. On January 18, 2017 WHSAD students and SKILLS USA members delivered over 400 cans of food to City Harvest’s collection site at Engine 229 Ladder 146 on Richardson Street in Greenpoint/Williamsburg, Brooklyn. WHSAD students and their families generously donated all of these canned goods. A special thanks to Heather Butts of H.E.A.L.T.H for YOUTHS for working with our students and SKILLS USA members to assist in the collection and drop off of the cans. Stay tuned to upcoming community service projects that will be sponsored by SKILLS USA and our partners.
