11th Grade Architectural Preservation

Unit 1 – Structure

Structure paintThis week we are finishing up Unit 1 Structure. During the last lessons of the unit we focused on finishes. Students learned about the protective properties of finishes, as well as the aesthetic value of color. Color allows a designer to emphasize elements and unify a design. An important step before painting a model to develop a color scheme and explore possibilities.
