We are number one in NYC!!!
Our SkillsUSA WHSAD chapter participated in five competitions at the 4th annual NYC SkillsUSA regional conference. In all, we won 12 medals. Our students took home the gold in the following five competitions:
- Architectural Drafting– Luis Barrera 1st place & George Mocete 2nd place
- Prepared Speech Competition– Autumn Gonzalez 1st place
- Job Interview Competition– Wilson Caceres 1st place
- Action Skills (Job Demonstration)– Nicholas Cruz 1st place
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies; a team of 7 (Presentation of our SkillsUSA Emblem)– Steven Maradiaga, Dara Hutchinson, Ashly Cabrera, Joselin Flores, Xavier Flowers, Selena Davis, and Oumardat Basdewa 1st place
