The Maureen L. & Howard N. Blitman, P.E., Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering
- Application deadline is March 1, 2015
- Awarded to a high school senior from an ethnic minority (African-American, Hispanic, and Native American) who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university.
- Scholarship awarded in two, $2,500 disbursements each at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters of the freshman year.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
- $7,500 annually
- A minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 22
- Present evidence of financial need

The American Chemical Society Scholars Program

- $2,500 awarded to high school seniors entering college and planning to pursue full-time study in a chemically-related field

Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarships (New York Lottery LOT Scholarship)
- Application deadline is March 26, 2015
- Merit-based $5,000, four-year college scholarship, paid in $1,250.00 increments awarded to one eligible graduating senior from EVERY participating public school.
- Scholarships can only be used toward the cost of attendance at a New York State accredited college, university, community college, or trade school
- Applicants must have at least a B average and have demonstrated leadership skills in extracurricular and community activities

Rahfeal C. Gordon International Scholarship

- Available to all high school seniors
- $1,000 scholarship offered to students with the following criteria:
- 3 letters of recommendation
- C+ GPA average or above
- 1 page letter describing your biggest dream/goal and what you are doing to make it a reality

Magic Johnson Foundation- 2015 Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarship
- Application deadline is April 30, 2015
- There are five college scholarships for $1,000 each, available to high school seniors
- Students must possess a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must write a 300-word essay on:
- How Denny’s can impact childhood hunger in their local communities.

- $500 scholarship issued to undocumented students- someone who was born outside of the United States but lives here without legal permission of the federal government (DACA students are eligible.)
