My main goal in WHSAD is to try and get out of high school alive. This is an important achievement for me because I want to live a long life and live an enjoyable life. I believe that by doing my best in class and on future exams that end goal is becoming possible. Every day I work towards trying to make money to invest in my future. Though school may be stressful I find that by listening to music, most of my stress is relieved. The fact that it’s easy to achieve a high GPA is what I believe makes WHSAD such a unique and special learning environment. WHSAD gives you the opportunity to strengthen your skills. You get the opportunity to try and pursue careers and, more specifically for me, one in electricity. I believe I was personally chosen because it was about time that I received that award. When I’m given a task, I try and finish it. Architecture and maybe English classes are my favorite. After graduation, I aspire to try and make money outside of the academic world. Through extracurriculars that WHSAD offers such as electrical club, I can gain important experience because I want to try and become an electrician. The amazing teachers at this school with lots of patience towards their students is what makes the school so special. It’s easy to get support from teachers because they actually want to teach us relevant things. WHSAD offers such a unique experience unlike any other high school because it’s a CTE school, which is very unique. WHSAD has given me a better perspective of the world. That is why I couldn’t more grateful for WHSAD.

Anthony’s Spanish teacher, Ms. Soto, had this to say about him: “Anthony is a very responsible young man. He is very smart and always has unique opinions that he brings to our class discussions. It has been my pleasure to be his teacher these past two years.”
