What have been some of your most memorable moments over the last four years at WHSAD?

During my first year coming into high school, I was really nervous and didn’t know what to expect being in a new school and environment. But during that year, I realized that it was not so bad and that I had a lot of fun in freshman year, especially making drawings and architecture. In my second year, it was also fun because we had to use computers and work on apps that I’ve never used before. In my third year, I was able to work with wood, and we were able to make small coffee tables. During that big project, I had fun making my table and it turned out great even though I’ve never done wood cutting before. Lastly, this school year has been pretty fast with college and everything else ending, but I’m still having fun.

What are your plans for life after high school? Why do you feel this is the best option for your at this time?

My plans after high school is to go to BMCC. I will try to experience it like how I experience my first freshman year of high school, but I know it will be different because it’s college. During college, I’ll continue to work as hard as I can so that I can graduate. I will also hope that will meet a lot of different people with many different personalities to make it more fun. Lastly, I will continue to do the best I can.

What are some words of advice you would give to younger students?

Some advice I would give to younger students is to make sure you’re on top of your work. Make sure that school is a top priority. Of course you can still do other stuff to have fun. You don’t have to just focus on school; you can still do your own thing while you’re focusing on school. Lastly, I would say to enjoy every year you can because who knows you can make some really good memories out of the four years you’ve been in high school.

Where do you want to see yourself five, ten, and thirty years from now?

In five years I would like to see myself graduating from BMCC. I would have gotten my bachelors degree and be free from school and be done with it. Then after that, I would like to get a well-paying job so that I could live comfortably. Unfortunately, I haven’t really thought that far ahead. One thing I do know is that I will just have to keep going and see where life takes me.

Who has been one person you’d like to thank for support, encouragement, love, etc.?

I would like to thank my family, of course, for always supporting me. Most of them are the reason I’m going to college and trying my hardest. One person, especially is my sister that I would like to thank. She was the person that would always push me and to try and make me do things that I thought I couldn’t do. She was the one that would teach me my homework when I wouldn’t understand it and has done so much more for me so I’d give a big thank you to her.
