What have been some of your most memorable moments over the last four years at WHSAD?
The most memorable moments were me selling snacks and candy throughout freshman year. It was pretty fun, and I learned so much and have experience on making negotiations. There was another experience that I would never forget and that is theater club where I was mostly shy and was scared. When the first performance started, I was really scared that I was going to mess up, but I didn’t. I used Ms SIlverstein’s advice to think that there was barely any people in the auditorium. I made it to the end and realized that I wasn’t that bad to what I think when first signing up. The final theater performance was one of the most truly spectacular performance I was in. I didn’t regret the decision that I made. It was a fun experience for the last two years. Also I’m glad that I joined and made so many friends throughout the journey.
What are your plans for life after high school? Why do you feel this is the best option for your at this time?
After high school I’ll be doing acting and will be focusing on my psychology major in college so I can make my parents proud since they gave me this wonderful life. I’ll also make new friends after high school ends and get new experiences.
What are some words of advice you would give to younger students?
Risks is better than regret. You won’t know if those choices are great till you try them out. You’ll regret a lot when you’re a senior like I am, but you’ll still have time to risk it for your final year of high school. Also, don’t overthink or stress on one thing. It’ll hold you back like me where I stressed on one thing and missed so many opportunities.
Where do you want to see yourself five, ten, and thirty years from now?
I would want to see myself successful throughout the five years for my psychology major and for my acting career as well. I also see myself in Jimmy Fallon’s show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. Talking about my life and how did I get where I am in those five years explaining the experiences that I’ve had.
Who has been one person you’d like to thank for support, encouragement, love, etc.?
I would like to thank my family that has been with me from the start they’ve helped me throughout these wonderful years. My mom and dad were there when I needed the most. They’ve always asked how I was when something off was going on with me like not talking to them or not playing video games. I’m truly grateful they’ve given me this life, and I wouldn’t want to let them down. I’m Grateful for God for giving me great friends, family members, and mentors during these years. I am truly grateful.🥹
