Senior Jacinth Bailey is set to graduate from WHSAD in 2018. Some of the projects in which she has participated include Curb Your Litter, Garden Clean Up, and the Kingsland Festival. She has also kept active in extracurriculars as being a member of the basketball team, Office Aid, and ACE Mentorship. According to Jacinth, “WHSAD has provided opportunities to explore the fields of architecture and introduced me to areas of interest which includes interior design and architecture. WHSAD also helped me create friendships with people already in the architectural world and opened doors for me to explore other areas of interest through and trade school named Cooperative Technical Education. Over there I will be studying automotive, and next semester I’ll be moving on to barbering or electrical installation.” After WHSAD, Ms. Bailey plans on continuing her studies in architecture and design at Syracuse University, Howard University, UCLA or the University of Buffalo.
