What have been some of your most memorable moments over the last four years at WHSAD?

Some of my most memorable moments over the last four years at WHSAD have been the times I was able to grow both academically and personally. I will always remember the friendships I built and how those connections helped me get through stressful moments. One thing I learned is that the people you start high school with are not always the people you leave with, and that’s something very important because it shows growth and change. Being very involved in school, helping plan events, and participating in different activities also made my experience more meaningful. There were definitely challenges along the way, but overcoming them made the good moments even better. Overall, my high school experience has shaped me into a stronger, more confident individual who is ready for the future.

What are your plans for life after high school? Why do you feel this is the best option for your at this time?

After high school, I am attending college and pursuing a career in nursing while working toward becoming a pediatrician in a hospital. I feel this is the best option for me because I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children. Going into the medical field will allow me to make a real difference in people’s lives and support families during important moments. College will also help me build the skills, discipline, and knowledge I need to succeed in this career path. At this time in my life, focusing on my education and future goals is the best decision I can make.

What are some words of advice you would give to younger students?

One piece of advice I would give to younger students is to stay focused on your goals, even when things get difficult. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it, because everyone needs support at some point. It’s also important to surround yourself with people who encourage and motivate you to do better. Make sure to manage your time wisely so you don’t feel overwhelmed later on. Lastly, enjoy the journey—high school goes by faster than you think, so make the most of every opportunity.

Where do you want to see yourself five, ten, and thirty years from now?

In five years, I see myself finishing college and continuing my education in the medical field. In ten years, I hope to have become a pediatrician and start working toward becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. I also see myself traveling and experiencing new opportunities along the way. By thirty years from now, I hope to be successful, stable, and possibly have my first child. I want to be in a position where I am proud of everything I have accomplished and able to give back to others. Overall, I see myself continuing to grow, achieve my goals, and build the life I’ve always wanted.

Who has been one person you’d like to thank for support, encouragement, love, etc.?

First and foremost, I would like to thank God, because without his grace, guidance, and countless blessings, I would not be the person I am today. Throughout every challenge and every success, his presence has given me strength, direction, and purpose. I would also like to thank my whole village for always being there for me and never giving up on me. Even when times were tough, they always pushed me to go for more and to strive for better. Their constant encouragement and support helped me stay focused and motivated throughout my journey. They believed in me even when I doubted myself, and that means everything to me. I am truly grateful for each and every one of them because I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love and support.
