AIM: Investigating Claims: How can we use our knowledge of science to assess the validity of advertisements

CLASS DAYS TIL REGENTS- 14

Today we did a fun activity to connect all of the concepts we have reviewed so far. There are many products advertised as “scientifically proven” in order to attract consumers. Print ads, labels, and commercials are often loaded with scientific-sounding vocabulary that the average American knows nothing about. As science students, we should use our knowledge to make informed decisions about the validity of claims.
