On April 25th, a group of WHSAD juniors and staff members participated in the annual field trip to Philadelphia, PA. The purpose of this annual trip is for students to see the roles that architecture and preservation play when it comes to monumentalizing our country’s early history. Students got to see sites such as Carpenter’s Hall, the site of the First Continental Congress, and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution were signed, among others.
