On Sunday, March 19 WHSAD’s Y-PLAN students joined Council member Stephen Levin’s (33rd District) Participatory Budgeting Committees in putting together presentation boards for the Participatory Budgeting Project Expo. The students assisted the teams in creating the posters for 6 projects that the community will vote on during the last week of March. The students are excited to have a hand in helping to change the communities that they live and go to school in. The Y-PLAN is an organization that works with communities to raise awareness on how to better care for the environment and their communities. To learn more about the Y-PLAN, click here.
