War Memorial: Writing performance Task

WHSAD students attend two Broadway performances

Over the last two weeks WHSAD students have attended performances of two Tony nominated Broadway productions. 50 students attended a performances of the new musical “The Visit” staring Chita Rivera. And on May 13, 2015 30 students attended a performance of "On the Town." A special thanks to Early Stages at CEI-PEA for providing this opportunity to WHSAD students. Preterite (Past) Tense notes 5-14-15

You learned how to conjugate verbs in the present tense, now you are going to learn the past tense.  Study the endings below.  Remember, to conjugate a verb you take off the infinitive ending (last 2 letters) and apply the new ending.  There will be a quiz on TUESDAY.  You must study! Example: Yo (hablar) - Hablar is an ar verb because the last 2 letters are ar.   My subject is Yo.  So I look at the chart and it tells me that the Yo ending for an ar verb is é Yo habl     +     é = Yo hablé (I talked) . … [Read more...]
